Las personas que buscan una buena computadora de marca deberían o es recomendable comprar computadoras de marca DELL ya que estas cuentas con mejores componentes o componentes de mejor calidad que otras macas, es muy aconsejable que puedan investigar antes de comprar que es lo que le están vendiendo, para ver si llena los requisitos que usted necesita no es lo mismo una computadora para hacer trabajos escolares, que una para uso pesado o de oficina aquí podrá ver una tabla comparativa de varios modelos recomendables de DELL tenga en cuenta que se dividen en tres categorías, Entry line sería los más básicos que para nosotros son modelos que no recomendamos, esta la Mainstream line que tiene mejores componentes posiblemente ustedes no entiendan casi nada de los que son los componentes de una pc a nivel de lo que es el motherboard hay un componente llamado chipset 

¿Qué es Chipset?

Básicamente, Chipset es el nombre que se le da al conjunto de chips (o circuitos integrados) utilizado en la placa madre y cuya función es realizar diversas funciones de hardware, como control de los Bus (PCI, AGP y el antiguo ISA), control y acceso a la memoria, control de la interfaz I/O y USB, Timer, control de las señales de interrupción IRQ y DMA, entre otras.
En pocas palabras, para hacerlo más comprensible para la mayoría de los usuarios, el chipset ocuparía el lugar de corazón de la computadora, ya que su función principal es la de recoger información y enviándola a la parte correspondiente para que la ejecución de la tarea solicitada sea realizada satisfactoriamente.

¿Cuál es la función del Chipset?

Dicho de forma más técnica, el Chipset se encarga de entablar la conexión correcta entre la placa madre y diversos componentes esenciales de la PC, como lo son el procesador, las placas de video, las memorias RAM y ROM, entre otros.
Por este motivo, la existencia del chipset es fundamental para que nuestra computadora funcione, ya que es el encargado de enviar las órdenes entre la motherboard y el procesador, para que ambos componentes puedan lograr trabajar con armonía.
entonces si vemos la linea Mainstream tiene mejores Chipset que Entry ya que como su nombre lo dice Entry es la linea básica o de entrada
Esta la linea High-tier line que vendría a ser su linea tope osea la que tiene mejores componentes sería la mas potente la que tiene los mejores Chipset

como ven en la tabla también muestra el modelo de CHIPSET mientras tengan los mejores chipset la tarjeta madre comunicara mejor el procesador con todos los componentes de la tarjeta madre como la memoria ram, la tarjeta de video, etc y por lo mismo hará que se aproveche mejor el procesador y todos los componentes tengan un mejor rendimiento
